A good night’s sleep is vital to your health and general happiness – meaning your bed is an incredibly important part of your life.

1. Rotate your mattress


Humans are creatures of habit, and we each have about one or two favoured sleeping positions.

This means you’re going to wear down your mattress in one area should you leave it be.

It’s best to turn your mattress every two-three months by rotating it from head to foot and then flipping it over.

3. Mattress toppers are your friend

If you want to keep your mattress clean and fresh for as long as possible, it’s a great idea to invest in a mattress topper.

Should you have a spill of some sort, it’s much easier to replace a mattress topper than an entire mattress.

4. Splurge on sheets
